MetamORF provides a repository of unique sORFs identified in the human and mouse genomes with both experimental and computational approaches. It has been built by gathering publicly available sORF data (see documentation for references), normalizing it and summarizing redundant information. The data has been inserted, reprocessed and homogenized in order to allow comparison of sORFs from distinct original data sources.
MetamORF enables analysis at both ORF, transcript and gene levels, which should help addressing new questions regarding sORF functions in the future.
